If you own a pair of Latin Dance shoes did you trim the end of them? I just bought my first pair of Latin shoes. I have previously only had the closed toe ballroom type. I am really happy with them except there seems to be a lot of excess sole sticking out beyond my toes. I believe someone told me once that professional dancers trim theirs down so that their toes are almost on the floor.
