How can I choreograph a salsa song?

I am doing a salsa demo for my school annual party. I need to learn the basics of choreography. Any tips welcome!

1. Be creative watch some videos on how to do salsa and take some moves from there make the song upbeat and fun!
2. First of all, you are going to have to know the steps, the names of the steps, and how to break them down. If you've been dancing for a while, you probably know a few basics from practicing. Switch them around and add a few flashy moves. Listen to the music, count the beat and rhythm, and enjoy!
